FLEESD is a not-for-profit organisation. We are dedicated to the sustainable development of the smallholder farmers and rural folks in the food value chain. FLEESD is the lead NGO working on the SAPZ Nigeria since inception.
The SAPZ is a programme spearheaded by the African Development Bank. It is the bank's strategy to achieve their Feed Africa and Industrialize Africa initiatives. Nigeria adopted the SAPZ in 2019 as a plan of the Federal Government to achieve its Agenda to Lift 100 Million Poor Nigerians Out of Poverty this Decade.
FLEESD is therefore playing the strategic role to unleash the SAPZ Nigeria for the benefits of the smallholders, to bridge the gaps in the actualization of 10 overarching Goals of the SDG 2023 to catalyze a broader rural economic development and enhance the economic prosperity of the smallholders, participating in the programme.
